Typical Itinerary

3 Peaks in 24 Hours Typical Itinerary

Here at Carl’s Minibus we run the trip over the weekend, Friday morning to Sunday Afternoon. We can also offer a midweek Challenge, so please don’t hesitate enquire.

 

Friday
On the route to Fort William we will meet up at different points.
We check that all our clients have the necessary equipment by having a briefing.
For the rest of the night we will prepare for the event, relax and eat an evening meal.

 

Saturday
Breakfast is at 7:00 am and we aim to depart for the beginning of the Challenge at approximately 8:00 am at Ben Nevis visitor centre.
This is a round trip of about 5 hours.
A transfer to Scafell Pike in the Lake District National Park.
Scafell will be an evening ascent (4 hour round trip).

 

Sunday
We transfer to Snowdon in the early hours of Sunday Morning. Here is where we will complete the final part of the Challenge: climbing Snowdon, in approximately 3.5 hours.
On the route to Manchester there will be various stops.
Please note that this itinerary is only a guide.

3 Peaks in 3 Days Typical Itinerary

Itinerary:

The trip is usually run over a long weekend, Thursday to Sunday, however if you would like to do this at any other time then please let us know. A typical itinerary may look like this:

 

Thursday
On the route to Fort William we will meet up at different points.

For the rest of the night we will prepare for the event, relax and eat an evening meal.

 

Friday:
First we will have breakfast and then depart for the Ben Nevis visitor centre to begin the walk.
This trip should take approximately 6 to 8 hours.
Accommodation for the night will be on route to Scafell Pike in the Lake District National Park.

 

Saturday:
First we will have breakfast and then depart for Scafell Pike to begin the walk.
This trip should take approximately 5 to 6 hours.
Accommodation for the night will be on route to Snowdonia.
